Newsboys ‘That’s How You Change The World’ Official Lyric Video - Christian Music Videos

One of the biggest acts in the Christian music scene, Newsboys, is back with a catchy, upbeat and toe-tapping tune about how to change and make an impact on the world.

Everyone wants to live a life full of meaning, achieving and accomplishing things in the time God has given us on earth. Ultimately, all want their life and time on earth to have impacted the world for good in some form or fashion. However, making that impact and creating lasting change can feel like a daunting and insurmountable task.

But changing the world is much easier than most people believe or realize. In the official lyric video posted on YouTube, Newsboys sing “That’s How You Change the World,” a tune that informs listeners that all are capable of making a positive impact in this fallen world. Christ was the perfect example, showing us all how to do this.

“It’s the prayer in an empty room
Little things we do when nobody’s around
A hand reaching out to a heart in doubt
It’s the smallest spark that can light the dark”

The world is a broken and lost place full of people who are hurting and struggling. Those damaged and wounded people are all around us - our family members, friends and neighbors. They are looking for the tiniest sign of hope.

As the musicians state, praying and reaching out to the Lord on their behalf can soothe whatever hurt or sorrow they are experiencing. A smile to someone who feels no one cares or notices them could brighten their day, week or life. Spending time listening to and conversing with someone could mean the world to them.

Being the hands and feet of Christ by showing others unexpected love and kindness can and will impact change. Often, people believe that to bring about change, there must be some grand, sweeping gesture that is recognized by millions. But that’s not the case at all.

Big change usually starts with a small gesture.

1 John 4:8 “He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.”
