Essential Music Publishing Celebrates Four GMA Dove Award Wins With Jason Ingram And Paul Mabury

unnamedNashville, TN - (October 17, 2016) - It was announced during Tuesday's 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards that Essential Music Publishing received a total of four Dove Award wins, thanks to two of their most well-known producer/writers, Jason Ingram and Paul Mabury. Ingram was awarded as Songwriter of the Year (non-artist), while Paul Mabury won for "Trust In You" as Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year. Together, Mabury and Ingram received Dove wins as producers for both the Inspirational Album of the Year (Brave New World by Amanda Cook) and Children's Music Album of the Year (Come Alive from Bethel Kids).

Jason Ingram is a seven-time GRAMMY® nominee, a seven-time SESAC Writer of the Year and has already won the GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year three times. Having five of his songs go No. 1 already this year, Ingram has written some of the industry's biggest hits. Four of his songs have reached RIAA gold certification ("Give Me Your Eyes," "By Your Side," "Where I Belong," and "How Can It Be"), and he is the second most-sung writer, just behind Chris Tomlin, in the church today.

Paul Mabury, who was last year's GMA Dove Award winner for Song of the Year with "How Can It Be," is one of Nashville's most popular drummers and songwriters, and the industry's most sought after producers alongside Ingram. Mabury co-wrote "Trust In You" with Lauren Daigle and Michael Farren, a song that was No. 1 for ten weeks on Billboard's Christian Airplay Chart and at the top for 11 weeks on Billboard's Christian AC chart.

"Congratulations to Jason and Paul for their accomplishments," shares Terry Hemmings, President and CEO, Provident Music Group/Sony Music Entertainment. "More importantly, we are grateful for their contribution to the ministries of the artists they produce and write for, and for their tremendous dedication to the format."

The 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held this past Tuesday night in Nashville, Tennessee at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena and will be televised on TBN this Sunday, October 18th at 9pm CT. For a complete list of winners, please click here.
